Thinking APR?
- Did you know approximately one
of every five eligible PRSA members -- those in the practice
for more than 5 years
-- are accredited
(about 4,000 people)?
- Have you considered maximizing
your public relations career by earning the "APR" behind
your name?
- Did you know that people who are universally accredited
in PR are more likely to earn higher salaries
and assume higher management
positions than their non-accredited peers?
PRSA's accreditation program uniquely identifies
public relations professionals who have gone
the extra mile
toward demonstrating
their knowledge, experience, and judgment in
managing and planning public relations activities.
The Universal
Accreditation Exam
was recently revised, allowing more flexibility
in scheduling times and testing locations.
Increasingly,
job listings are specifying APR preferred.
Senior public relations professionals have
been outspoken in support
of Accreditation. It is a symbol of professionalism.
