PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN REACHED 'WE THE PEOPLE'
Our country’s recent election was historic on several fronts
- not the least of which was the use of social networks to
reach voters. President-elect Barack Obama has been called
the “King of Social Networking,” “Master Pitchman” and a “PR
Machine”-- monikers not generally used to describe the
Commander-in-Chief. Will our new president continue to live
up to this reputation by using social networks to build
coalitions? Join us for a PRSA panel discussion to examine
how public relations (traditional and non-traditional)
played a part in Obama’s campaign and how it will continue
to play a role in shaping policy in his Administration.
