The Planning Council is a non-profit organization with a mission of advancing community health and human services in Southeastern Wisconsin through objective planning, evaluation, and research. We are currently looking for interns for summer 2010 openings. The intern would help develop a strategy to increase our agency's profile. The candidate would also assist with our email blasts; writing/editing website text; setting up an agency blog and Twitter account and trainig staff on appropriate uses; and describing our projects for the general public. The candidate must have a willingness to learn; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to work with culturally and professionally diverse groups with a wide range of work styles; and knowledge of marketing, public relations, and Web 2.0. The Planning Council is located at 1243 N. 10th Street, Suite 200, Milwaukee. This is an updaid internship. |
