Responsibilities include:
Maintaining vigorous account activity, using strategic PR plan as a framework. Preparing a variety of written communication on behalf of clients including, press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, monthly newsletters, internal communications and other materials as needed. Creating and updating effective strategic public relations plans and presenting them at internal meetings as well as client meetings. Overseeing media contact lists and press materials including press kits, media training binders and other materials as needed. Proactively pitch client and agency news stories to local and national print, online and broadcast media outlets. Developing and executing media training and coaching for individual and group clients. Collaborating with account managers to meet client objectives and provide clients with maximum ROI. Work cooperatively with all levels of staff and management.
Job Qualifications:
Requirements include: Bachelors' degree (journalism, communications, ad/pr or marketing preferred. Exceptional media relations skills, with a proven record of accomplishment in trade and/or business media. 3+ years agency PR experience AE's and 5+ years for SAE's. Proven technical writing experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate has a confident presence and business style and enjoys working with other talented professionals in a creative, collaborative and fast-paced environment.
