Professional Resource Center Through PRSA National

Through the Professional Resource Center, PRSA members have access, at low special member rates, to key resources: an editorial database plus hundreds of public relations campaign award winners as well as the most up-to-date industry trends and most recent research findings in video, publications, monographs or reprints. Awards and Recognition

PRSA National recognizes public relations programs and public relations tactics for excellence in the profession through the Silver Anvil and Bronze Anvil awards. Through its five different individual awards programs, PRSA recognizes individuals who, during the course of their careers, have made outstanding contributions to the profession.

The Wisconsin Chapter hosts annual Paragon Awards to recognized excellence in public relations within our region. We also present the Dorothy Thomas Black Award and Paragon Communicator Award. [more information]

  • Dorothy Thomas Black Award - The Dorothy Thomas Black Award recognizes sustained, superior performance in public relations.
  • Paragon Communicator Award - A business, community, or religious leader who has effectively employed public relations principals and practices in the heading of a business or community issue.
