PRSA Young Pros is a great way to get involved if you’re new to the industry or new to the area. Enthusiastic, friendly and eager to learn, the members of PRSA Young Pros strive to create a community of up-and-coming professionals who are gaining experience, learning about the industry and further developing PR skills, all while building a great network and even better relationships.
The PRSA Southeastern Wisconsin Young Pros was founded to provide a professional forum to help enhance and advance the growth of young professionals in the Milwaukee region. Through various professional outreach programs, educational events and social networking opportunities, Young Pros members learn to navigate the ever-changing industry and form valuable relationships both with peers and with seasoned, respected professionals.

Alex Moulchin, Social Media & Communications Chair, Mentor Program Co-Chair
Alex serves as the Social Media & Communications Chair and Mentor Program Co-Chair for PRSA Young Pros.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Political Science, and Creative Writing from Valparaiso University. While attending Valpo, she was the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter president and received the National Golden Key Award, the highest honor given to a PRSSA member.
Alex is the Digital Marketing Specialist at Quarles & Brady LLP, where she focuses on digital strategy, social media, and public relations.
Katharine Braunschweiger, Events Chair, Mentor Program Co-Chair
Katharine Braunschweiger is a PR Counselor at Bader Rutter. Her responsibilities include developing and pitching core PR materials, managing social programs by developing content and growing brand recognition, and telling clients’ stories through unique and engaging platforms.
Katharine is a Marquette University graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing. During her time at Marquette, she held various internships at local marketing firms, while also serving as the Marquette University Student Government Public Relations Director.
Upon graduation, her love for traveling led Braunschweiger to live and work abroad for numerous years, including working for a digital marketing agency based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While in Argentina, Braunschweiger gained valuable international business, strategic communications, digital marketing and media relations experience.
In her free time, you can find Katharine out running by the lakefront, dancing salsa or trying out new restaurants around the city with her friends.
