What you can’t see CAN hurt you. Overcoming leadership blind spots

One of the most important lessons when learning to ride a bike or drive a car is “check your blind spot.” Failing to do so could end catastrophically.

But what about in your job? Failing to identify and check your blind spot could seriously harm or kill a company and your career.
Jim Bohn, Ph.D., has led the transformation of multiple underperforming teams to achieving award-winning levels of success in the healthcare, manufacturing, financial, sales and non-profit sectors since the 1970s. He is considered an expert on change management. His books, “Architects of Change: Practical Tools for Executives to Build, Lead and Sustain Organizational Initiatives” and “The Nuts and Bolts of Leadership” have been endorsed by Fortune 100 companies including G.E., Lowe’s, Sodexo and Walgreens as well as The Water Council here in Milwaukee.

Dr. Bohn, who is known as “The Blue Collar Scholar,” will identify 13 leadership blind spots and provide PRSA members and guests handouts to self-reflection and awareness of pitfalls that could prevent stall or sideline a career.
