Our organization consists of more than 200 of the area’s top public relations professionals from business and industry, consulting firms, government agencies, hospitals, trade and professional organizations and not-for-profit groups.

Established in 1964, the APR program is the profession’s only national post-graduate certification program. Awards and Recognition – local and national

PRSA National recognizes public relations programs and public relations tactics for excellence in the profession through the Silver Anvil and Bronze Anvil awards. Through its five different individual awards programs, PRSA recognizes individuals who, during the course of their careers, have made outstanding contributions to the profession.

The Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter hosts annual Paragon Awards to recognize excellence in public relations within our region. We also present the Dorothy Thomas Black Award and Paragon Communicator Award. Find more details under the Awards tab.
