Learn more about “The Hop” at our March social

Join fellow communications professionals as we learn and have a little fun at our March 20th  social!

Milwaukee’s streetcar, familiar to most as “The Hop,” began getting Milwaukee residents and visitors from one point to another in November. To date, Milwaukee’s newest mode of transportation has exceeded expectations, welcoming more than 75,000 riders in each of its first two months of operation.

Learn about the communication efforts necessary for a successful launch of “The Hop” and the plans in place to sustain that success. Several communications professionals integral to the project including Jodie Tabak of the City of Milwaukee, Ellen Homb of 2-Story and Jeff Bentoff of Bentoff Communications will provide their insights at 5:30 p.m. at Stone Creek Coffee, 422 N. 5th St., Milwaukee. Following the discussion, a tour of “The Hop” maintenance facility will be made available.

From there, take a ride on the streetcar to The Wicked Hop, 345 N. Broadway, for food, drinks and networking until 8 p.m.

Space is limited, and this is sure to be a popular event, so be sure to register quickly.
