Post-pandemic return to the office and ‘Great resignation’ offer opportunities to PR pros

Two years after the COVID-19 pandemic forced many businesses to close or convert their workforces to remote workers, organizations are seeking ways to return to traditional workplaces. But many workers are resisting a return to the “old ways” and are resigning in record numbers, putting employers in a difficult position.

This situation is a boon for communicators and an opportunity to reshape workforces.

“Integrating Diversity & Inclusion into your workplace strategy…and how PR professionals can help make this a priority” is a virtual panel discussion sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America’s Southeastern Wisconsin chapter. This Feb. 23 program will be a virtual event through Zoom because of Covid. It starts at noon.

The panelists include:

  • Felicia Blow, National Chair of PRSA (and Associate VP for Development at Hampton University)
  • Francesca Mayca Wegner, executive director of the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee
  • Kobena Collins, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor for Kohl’s and senior director of recruitment and strategy of Bridge Builder Professional Staffing
  • Myra Sanchick, development director for Independence First

Event is open to the public and registration can be done below.  A Zoom link will be provided to registered participants by the morning of the event.
