What’s the craziest thing you’ve had to do for work? I had to cascade down a series of waterfalls with a group of journalists in the Dominican Republic. For someone who is terrified of heights it wasn’t an easy task to keep it together in front of the media, but it was something I’ll never forget.
What social media outlets do you use? Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. I probably have an unhealthy Pinterest addiction.
What’s your favorite part about living and working in Southeastern Wisconsin? With the exception of the brutal winters, Wisconsin has so much to offer. From the festivals and arts scene, to the array of restaurants and sporting events, it has something for everyone. The nice thing about working in the PR/communications industry here is that it makes the city feel smaller in a certain sense. There are a variety of networking opportunities, and you never feel like you get lost in the shuffle as you would in larger cities.
What’s your favorite restaurant in Southeastern Wisconsin? Ann’s Italian Restaurant in Hales Corners. Their pizza is out of this world.
What’s the best vacation you’ve taken? I went to China and Thailand last year to visit my friend and her husband. Asia was never on my travel bucket list, but it was one of the most amazing experiences. I find it so exciting to learn about new cultures and indulge in the different cuisines. Let’s just say that their food is 100 times better than any of the food you’d get at a takeout Chinese restaurant in Milwaukee.
