The PRSA Young Pros Mentor Program, a joint program between the Southeastern Wisconsin PRSA parent chapter and the PRSA Young Pros, recently embarked upon its second year.
Launched in 2013, the program’s goal is to foster relationships between young and seasoned professionals by providing programming, networking opportunities, idea sharing and career guidance.
A kickoff dinner was held on June 24 at Transfer Pizzeria to give mentors and mentees a chance to get acquainted. We are excited to have 17 pairs matched up one-on-one for the upcoming year.
In addition to the kickoff dinner, a social outing and an industry event are being planned for participants throughout the yearlong program. Details for these events will be announced soon.
In addition to planned Mentor Program events, mentors are also encouraged to invite their mentees to join them for at least one PRSA luncheon or other professional development event.
